The Bluenose II is acknowledged to have the largest working mainsail in the world,
measuring 4,150 square feet.  The total sail area for all 8 sails measures over 11,000 square feet.
The top speed logged under full sail is 16 knots.
During our cruise the crew raised the four lower sails.
