Antigonish Highland Games Parade

July 17, 1999. Got up early for breakfast were we met Lisa and Len. We chatted amiably at the table until time for the Parade. Mary provided us with chairs so we sat on the lawn in the shade and watched. It was actually quite a spectacle, with floats, bands, a mounted unit, fire and rescue equipment, pipe bands, a brass band... it was pretty nifty for such a small town. After the parade we headed over to the field for the Junior Heavy Events competition.
